Year 3 Exeter trip! Yesterday, Year 3 visited Exeter Cathedral and had an excellent guided tour inside. The children asked lots of amazing questions and enjoyed hearing about the history of the magnificent structure. They then headed out on a walk around the city looking at land use and landmarks in Exeter including the city walls, The Clocktower, The Guildhall and Princesshay shopping centre. This trip will support year 3s current geography unit!

WRITING WEEK last week there were some very strange going's on in the woods... a mysterious door appeared and lots of keys were discovered after half term. How did it get there? Where does it lead to? We used the door and keys as a hook to a whole school writing week. The children all visited the woods to see the door and then kick started their week long writing unit. The week ended with different classes getting together to celebrate and share each other's work! A great success
