Year 6 had an amazing day walking the coastal path from Beer to Branscombe (and back). Along the way we saw some amazing geological formations, checked our heart rate, explored the WW2 Pillbox and enjoyed lunch and an ice-cream on the beach. Huge congratulations to all the children for tackling the Stairway to Heaven and surviving!

With Rich Play becoming part of our timetable in Key Stage One we wanted to have a visual to add to our every day timetables. Some of the Year 2 children were given the opportunity to create designs. This is the one we have chosen to use in Year 2 for this term.

The Year 2 children took part in a conscience alley in Writing. They were either Hansel or Gretel walking through the alley of thoughts. One side of the alley played the evil witch and the other side played the loving mother. The children used their conflicted thoughts to channel Hansel and Gretel's emotions in their diary entries written today.
