Fleet Air Arm Museum

On Friday, Y5 went up to Yeovil to visit the Fleet Air Arm Museum. We explored the museum and a range of aircraft including helicopters and planes. We were about to break the codes to reveal where the planes had been spotted using coordinates on the map and even went inside a real Concorde! The children used their air resistance knowledge from our Science lessons to create their own plane and tested them by firing them off a Navy aircraft carrier simulator. A great day was had by all!
