Nurse Natalie to the rescue!
In Reception, we had a visit from a lovely local nurse and parent to tell us how nurses help us to stay safe and healthy.
Nurse Natalie showed us how easy it is to spread germs by adding glitter to her hands and then interacting with different objects and people. We were surprised to see how far the glitter could spread from person to person, and it definitely reminded us to wash our hands thoroughly before eating or after messy activities, coughs and sneezes.
Nurse Natalie then showed us some of the equipment she uses as a nurse and how to use it properly. We were all able to hear our heartbeats using the stethoscope, and had a go at bandaging our partners, which is much harder than it looks!
A big thank you to Natalie for helping us learn all about her important job.
