Paignton Zoo

The day started with the heavens opening in biblical proportion, and it looked like we were going to need an Ark! Despite the soggy start, we had a wonderful day exploring and seeing lots of different animals to inspire our writing unit; we had close encounters with gorillas, lions and tigers to name a few. There was also a very interactive spider monkey who was absolutely terrifying and clearly wanted the pupils off his territory. It was an abzoolutely wonderful day!
