Visit from Lloyds Bank
Year 6 were visited this afternoon by two representatives from Lloyds bank. They were challenged to manage a budget for a fictional family who were saving to go abroad; this involved looking at bank statements, receipts and bills to find information. They also discussed what things in life are luxuries and what are necessities, thinking about what could be sacrified in order to save. They also began to think about spending abroad and how exchange rates work.
