Sports for Schools Day
Last Friday every child took part in the Sports For Schools circuit and we welcomed Paralympian David Hill. The children really enjoyed the morning’s fitness, brilliantly organised by England’s Blind Football team goalkeeper Dan James, taking part with enthusiasm. David’s assembly was very inspiring and reinforced the message that hard work pays off! A child from each year group was singled out for having demonstrated excellent sporting qualities of determination and enthusiasm. David presented them with a signed wristband to acknowledge their efforts. Wrist bands to mark the occasion are still on sale for the next 2 weeks and available to purchase for £1 or £2 with 50% coming to the school.
