Space seeds experiment comes to an end and the results are in...

26 June 2016Latest News Year 1

Year 1 were very excited to grow rocket seeds from space. We closely monitored their growth and after much discussion we predicted that the red seed packet has been aboard the ISS (the seeds grew quickly but seemed a bit weak!)

Tim Peake returned to Earth last week and it was revealed that the blue seed packet had in fact been to space! These plants seemed much stronger so maybe there’s hope for life in space after all?! The children enjoyed their topic and were fascinated by the possibility of travelling and living in space. For more information about the experiment please see our previous blog post from 26th April.
