Seaton Down Hoard

Representatives from the Royal Albert Memorial Museum (RAMM) came to talk to the children about the discovery of Seaton Down Hoard. In 2013, 22,800 Roman coins were discovered in Seaton. The hoard is one of the largest collections to be found in the UK and gives a fascinating insight into Roman life in the South West. RAMM are opening an exhibition dedicated to the hoard and representatives came in to tell us about this fantastic discovery.
