Natural Seaton Activities
While Key Stage 2 were out in the town completing organised activities for the Natural Seaton Festival, Key Stage 1 carried out a range of activities around the school grounds.
We had our very own campfire up in the school woods where we toasted marshmallows on willow sticks. We also did a scavenger hunt and had a brilliant discussion about the poo of different woodland animals! Finally we made clay faces using natural materials for our features (see the photos below).
After a lovely picnic lunch, in the afternoon we did 3 different activities on the school field. These were making large bubbles, clay tree figures and boats to test whether they would float or sink.
All the children had a lovely day and a big thank you goes to Miss Broom, Mrs McNeice and Dr Trew for organising such brilliant activities!
