On Monday morning the whole school walked to St Gregory’s church to celebrate harvest.
Every year group prepared something to celebrate harvest time, including; harvest songs, a rap, posters and poems. We also performed a number of harvest themed songs we have been practicing at school. Jeremy spoke to the children about the importance of harvest time and how we should try to plant seeds of peace and love during times of hardship, particularly thinking about the refugee crisis.
The children all sang beautifully, despite the sudden absence of piano accompaniment.
It gives us an exciting glimpse of what can be expected at the KS2 carol concert and Nativity play at the end of the term.
