British Museum Trip

8 November 2015Latest News Year 4

We had a fantastic trip to the British Museum on Friday. We had a good journey and enjoyed some London sightseeing on the way. As always, the children were itching to get into the museum and explore the fantastic selection of artefacts. We completed a range of tasks in the ancient Greek section before heading off to explore other displays, including the Egyptian mummies, Aztecs and the Vikings. Finally, much to the children’s delight, we stopped in the souvenir shop, from which the children bought some gifts to remember this exciting school trip.

It was a long day but the children were a huge credit to our school and behaved brilliantly, we received many comments from the public about their excellent behaviour. We want to say a huge thank you to all the staff who came and helped and to parents for your patience, staying up late for our return. Also we want to say thank you to the PTA for providing us with new high visibility jackets, the children really enjoyed wearing them. The gallery below gives a flavour of all the exciting things we saw.

Many thanks,

Mr Delfosse & Mr Lewis
