Year 4 spent all of Friday taking part in a range of Viking themed activities; whittling, rowing training, saga story telling and camp fire, kingy bats, clay amulet making and a Viking trading game. The day was a huge success with the children fully engaged and learning first hand experience of what it might have been like to be a Viking. This weeks homework was for the children to share their experiences in detail and discuss what they learnt and enjoyed. Below is a sample of some of the photos that were taken to help discussions. We want to say a big thank you to the children for their good behaviour and enthusiasm throughout the day, well done!
