Welcome to Year 4’s Class Page!
In Year 4 our aim is to encourage children to become more independent and pro-active learners. We believe that they should begin to use their initiative to drive their own educational development, to better prepare them for Years 5 & 6.
Homework plays an important part in developing independent learners and gives parents an opportunity to see what the children are learning in school. Homework is usually set on a Friday and is due in on Tuesday, should the children have a problem completing the task on time, an extension can be agreed with the class teacher.

Having passed Stonehenge, we expect to arrive at school at 11pm.
Year 4 have had a great time at the British Museum and are currently travelling back.
Children from Year 3 - 6 took part at Colyton Grammar's Cross Country Competition.
