Welcome to Year 4’s Class Page!

Mr LewisIn Year 4 our aim is  to encourage children to become more independent and pro-active learners. We believe that they should begin to use their initiative to drive their own educational development, to better prepare them for Years 5 & 6.

Homework plays an important part in developing independent learners and gives parents an opportunity to see what the children are learning in school. Homework is usually set on a Friday and is due in on Tuesday, should the children have a problem completing the task on time, an extension can be agreed with the class teacher.

Please explore our blog for information and pictures giving you an insight into all the exciting activities we get up to this year.

In order to continue to support learning when the children are not here, we have put together some information sheets that may provide you with some very useful support for learning at home. Further information for Essential Workers is available in another post.
